Holy cow I need to clean...

So every once in a while I get a bug up my butt and need to clean... I mean NEED TO clean. LoL
It doesn't happen very often but it does every once in a while. Anyone who knows me knows that my house is generally a organized mess.... things are placed where they are and I know EXACTLY where they are.... this is a fact the hubby has yet to figure out. When it comes to that aspect of our personalities we are polar opposites! I am trying, but with a grumpy (seems like constantly teething) 11 month old and a bouncy 5 year old it does get hard to keep up once you get just a little behind.
But today is a day I am proud of...
#1. Dishes are done and the dirty reloaded.
#2. 3 loads of laundry are done and in the process of being put away
#3. I have managed to crush, smash and bag about 3 loads of recyclables!

This is TONS considering little bean is having some sort of allergy/cold runny nose thing going on... frankly so is mommy.

I hope the hubby is happy when he comes home because I'm about as tired as he is.

Helping hand...

Helped mom today. She finally got a good offer on one of the cars she owns so she came over to this side of town and I went and picked her up after the lot took her car. I don't think either of us really wanted it to go but it needed to be done.
Mom then took Ava and I out to lunch at Il Vicino brick oven pizzas and Ava was very excited! Their pizzas are very soft so we were able to tear off little peices and Ava was able to chomp them down.
Overall a good day... on that note, good night all!

Blacktop nationals WOOOHOOO!!

So I got an offer to work (and get paid...BONUS) At Blacktop Nationals Auto show downtown this weekend... I couldn't pass  it up. I worked for Ford's Arrive and drive for the day. Basically You came, lined up, test drove 2 cars around a small course then got to take your pick of riding with a pro driver in a Shelby Mustang on the course (My choice) or Ford Raptor on a dirt track (Jon's Choice). WE HAD A BLAST!! They weren't sure if the workers would get a ride after or not, they had to see how the tires were doing, but I did get to ride in it. Jon stood in line to ride in the raptor since he wanted to check out the auto show. BUT IT WAS AWESOME AND I WOULD TOTALLY DO IT AGAIN!!!!  We both got shirts out of the deal and these neat reusable bags that say blacktop nationals.
 Here's the photos... ENJOY!!!

I'm so done....

So Today was zoo day for the girl scouts, Lexi and her friend went with me and we had a blast. The girls got a zoo patch and a Waterbottle for answering some trivia questions!

We happen to run into my Ex's mom there (she works there). I was at least able to explain what was going on to her and she seemed a little surprised. I'm only hoping she thought the changes that were made to the custody weren't so bad. (Maybe I'm not such a B!t*#!) But we did have a good time at the zoo none the less.

I come home to find a bill in the mail from the city saying we now have to pay a yearly fee to keep the alarm system in our house... total suck!

Also in the mail a letter from SRS about our food assitiance... Itz been denied because I'm now getting child support. UGH!! Can this day get any better?

What's that honey? We only have 30 bucks to last us the week in the bank account....

I F-ING HATE THE ECONOMY!

At least the girls had fun....

Hubby WTH Quotes..

Here's the hubby WTH quote of the week...

I asked him if he'd go and get us a couple of mcdonalds Cheeseburgers, which he did... While going to bed he snuggles up next to me and says...

"Cheeseburgers mean kisses..."

What the hell honey... what the hell LoL

Duck Day

So today was duck day LoL I know most of you are saying, what the heck is duck day. Well my friend is home-schooling her pre-schooler and they are going thru the alphabet one letter at a time and relating it to things in the world... and today was the letter D and so she invited Ava and I to waddle over to the duck pond and feed the ducks with her and her little boy. It was a blast! We got to the pond and the ducks walked right up to us as we got out of the van, quacking and all. So what is the first thing Ava does when she sees the ducks once I get her out.

"MAMA!! UFF UFF!!"
"No Bean, those are Quack Quack ducks!"
"Uff Uff?"
"No Quack Quack Duck..."

It took a minute for this to sink in but she quickly started to giggle at ducks as they followed in a line behind us. So we fed the ducks and played on the swings for the first time and Ava had a blast, she giggled the WHOLE time. The ducks didn't seem happy when we left but we had a great time... mommy even got to send a video on her phone to daddy at work of his little bean swinging.
It made his day.

Something to think about... stand in my shoes....

I Am generally not a very political but this E-mail I got caught my attention. After being thru a lay-off, no insurance and all other things these past 13 months when I got this it really hit home. I have my doubts that anything will be done, but I think it would be a huge step in the right direction. I watched a program on TV a few weeks ago about all the perks our congress and senate members get and it really upsets me that our money is being spent on this while many of  people in my situation are getting the boot, so to speak. Did you know that if a congress or senate member gets sick they can have any specialist in the country flown into DC to examine them AT NO CHARGE, this is all while a friend of mine can't work and has gone thru at least 6 docs can't figure out what the heck is wrong with her and they just pass her off to the next, saying "Oh itz not my prob anymore".
Again I'm not trying to start a riot but this is REALLY something to think about, Here's the email....

THIS IS HOW YOU FIX CONGRESS AND SENATE!!!
I am sending this to virtually everybody on my e-mail list and that includes conservatives, liberals, and everybody in between. Even though we disagree on a number of issues, I count all of you as friends.. My friend and neighbor wants to promote a "Congressional Reform Act of 2010". It would contain eight provisions, all of which would probably be strongly endorsed by those who drafted the Constitution and the Bill of Rights.

I know many of you will say, "this is impossible". Let me remind you, Congress has the lowest approval of any entity in Government, now is the time when Americans will join together to reform Congress - the entity that represents us.

We need to get a Senator to introduce this bill in the US Senate and a Representative to introduce a similar bill in the US House. These people will become American heroes..

Thanks,

A Fellow American
.Congressional Reform Act of 2010

FINALLY!

SO I got the mail today and was so happy to see I finally received a child support check. You have no idea how nice it is to not have to worry about how your going to afford to pay your kids medical bills! SOOO happy right now, was so happy I took a little of what we got and surprised Lexi after school with a new toy (mind you it wasn't that expensive but anything is awesome to her right now).

Summer Obsession.... Nom Nom Nom

So I wanted to share Lexi and I's summer favorite thing this year....a Starbucks Yummy Double Chocolate Chip Frappichino.... best part about these is NO COFFEE....you heard me right... I CAN NOT stand coffee, mind you i like the smell of it, hate the taste... makes me gag no matter what it's in... Anyways, just thought I'd share, but get your own, this one is mine LoL

Ouch.... and no insurance

So after this weekend I've totally done something to yonk my knee out of place, I have no idea what I did, but It's a little swollen and getting up and around starts out with ALOT of pain and limping, the process in all its pain is actually quite funny. It was a nice weekend though besides that.
Ugh, I hate being sick/hurt and not having insurance to do ANYTHING about it. The sad thing is Jon and I are totally not eligible for any type of assitance and to put Ava on state insurance is around a 6 to 8 month wait... Lexi is on millitary insurance  so she is not eligable for state and her dad has her signed up for the LOWEST insurance they offer. You think that the US government would provide something that was pretty good but Lexi has NO dental (thanks to her dad not wanting to pay the $11 a month) and the military doesn't pay for glasses or lens and Lexi has major correction for her eyes, litterally her eyes cross if she doesn't wear her glasses so I have to keep up on that... at least I was just notified that I will be getting my child support check sometime this week and can afford to take her to get all that done. After all the crap I got for asking for support I'm finally getting something, not only that the millitary pulled the month he missed on top of everything, I'm sure he's not happy but his kiddo is sure gonna have a happy smile and 2 very pretty blue eyes that won't be crossed.
Technically I'm not supposed to use the money to pay for her medical (but I can), and INFACT he is required to pay 54% of any and all uncovered medical expenses... that is not going to happen, that's just the way he is, but I can always try.
It still amazes me that there are people who are out there that want the title of "dad" but don't want the responsibility....

Dinner with Grammy and Home sweet home...

So mom has decided to sell one of the cars, so happy she's staying in the house, but looks like she's going to do a overhaul of the backyard. That will be fun for the girls. I am tired but tonight was a blast! We loaded up and went to this wonderful little chinese buffet called Fortune Cookie and Ava got her first taste of Lo Mein and LOVED IT! She then proceeded , when we got back over to grandmas, to poop all over both mom and grandma LoL Gotta love rich Asian food! So we helped mom go thru some boxes and such and Jon was excited because in those boxes Jon found pics of him and his dad working on a car his dad rebuilt...very awesome find!! Great night!

Car, houses, and all that other stuff....

So mom invited us to dinner tonight, she wants to talk about what she'd like to do with her cars, and her other things. We have no idea what she's going to decide, she's been back and forth about alot of things since Jon's dad died. I just hope everything will work itself out and everyone will be happy. Jon and I really don't want her to sell the house, but we totally understand if itz too much right now, we're just REALLY happy she wants/values what we have to think about everything... We LOVE mom SOOOOOO much, we're so glad that she's her and we wouldn't change a thing about her.
Also this picture is not her house or car... Jon just thought it was funny!

Tired...Too tired for WTF (See below for WTF)

Mommy is tired.... Made  Sloppy Joes for dinner and after starting clean (starting being the key word LoL) I sent the hubby off to a meeting for a group that we belong to (The Wichita Transformers Fans, we affectionitly call ourselves the WTFers) I generally go with the Girls in tow but to be honest, I just wouldn't be able to function with the girls almost ready for bed (Itz now 8:20 he left about 7) Bedtime in our house is 8:30 most nights. I've had trouble convincing others of that, but i digress... I am just pooped...

Well after my oldest is in bed (in just a few, we're deciding on PJs right now LoL) I think the hubby will come home and we shall sink into the wonerful world of what is insane 80's cartoons and watch the 1986 TF movie... this should be on every fans list. GOD I love 80's cartoons...

New Hubby Quote...

I had to post this....

Hubby on hold with Toys R Us while this chours of kids sings the Toys R Us song...
"What the hell did they hire the children of the corn to sing this?!?"

Rush Concert- Wishing I could give a hubby a nice night

SO Tonight is A HUGE concert with the Amazing band Rush... That's Geddy Lee, Alex Lifeson, and Neil Peart. They sing Tom sawyer, Working man and Limelight. I'm trying to win Tix thru the arena's Facebook page doing trivia, but itz hard when 100 other people are entering! Trivia is easy when ya got a hubby who knows all the answers and can rock out on air drums and rockband drums to the group... It totally sucks that being laid off TWICE in 13 months and just really getting back in the swing of things. We used to not do alot, but a few times a year we'd go and see a few things... now itz a struggle to even budget to take Lexi to see a movie. I wish things would turn around so we could be comfortable again... I do think though if we can make it through these rough couple of years we can make it through anything!

Hubby WTH quotes for the week....

no matter how bad/crazy/ stupid things get leave it to the hubby to make a "What the hell?!?!?" quote to make the day better. I am going to make this a weekly thing, here is this weeks set of Quotes.... Remember these are for laughs and not to be taken AT ALL SERIOUSLY....

..."You know We should've gone to the Rascal Flatts concert, I wanted to see if the leader singer really looks like a brain damaged rooster in person..."

About the group Digital Underground (They did The song Humpty dance see picture above).... "HOLY CRAP!! ITZ YO GABBA GABBA DUDES DAD!" (That is the guy in the orange hat...DJ Lance, Ava is getting REALLY into Yo Gabba Gabba)

About the leader singer of Digital Underground(again picture above)... "You know with a nose like that Humpty ain't tippin'!"

Husbands take on all the condom ads on TV.... "All of them feel the same no matter what kinda garbage they put on there you want something different ball up a hedgehog and have it in the tip,THAT'S A DIFFERENT SENSATION!"

I have the most awesome hubby in the world!!

Daisy Scout Mama

SO I went this afternoon and got Lexi signed up for scouting at the local Scout office. We are thrilled, especially since I found out yesterday that I signed up for leader of the troop and got it! YAY!! I'm going to be leading a AWESOME group of little Daisies! I'm a dork, I know it but it is so awesome to be able to do something with Lexi that i never got to do because my mom was too busy being a business lady when I was little.
It's so awesome to be able to do something like this, I thank my hubby EVERY day for being able to let me stay home and to be able to do this with our girls!
I'll have to start posting pics of stuff that I do for our troop and with my mama buddies and stuff.
Did I mention Lexi's reasoning for becoming a girl scout??
"Mom I wanna be a girl scout so I can get those cool stickers and SELL COOKIES!!!"
God I love my child, she is so awesome! ;-)
Jon is excited to get those cookies, looks like I'm going to be hiding the checkbook! LoL
So, let the insanity BEGIN!!! LoL

The Joys of being a Ex with a kid

So, I really don't have a problem with my Ex... he's not THAT bad of a guy... He's in the army for godsake! But this is how you ex can totally make you feel like crap!

1. Threaten your Ex-wife that if she doesn't call her lawyer off you're going to kick her a$$

2. When you don't send the correct paperwork to the court day that you scream at your ex again when the judge rules in her favor, granting her a order, after 2 years of nothing, for child support.

3. Lie to all your friends and family and tell them that your Ex has completly stripped all your rights to your kid away from you, which in turn makes them call your ex a no good, lazy, fat, greedy b!t&$ on all of there facebooks, blog, ect. When in reality the court granted your Ex Sole custody because you're overseas and not available to consult on major decisions. Then when ex trys to talk to you, you tell her its all her fault and her problem she has to deal with.

Here is what your ex will do...

She is going to block you on EVERYTHING (except phone calls that's you're not making)because she doesn't need that drama

She is going to try and call your family to set things straight but they are going to reject the calls and any texts

She is just going to refuse to give you any extra info about anything that is going on in her life, since you have to know everything and you call it stupid and you can't even be nice about your kids half sister and call her by her name instead of just "Your other kid"

There are reasons WHY you are treated the way you are

ALWAYS REMEMBER YOU GET WHAT YOU GIVE

This is the end of my rant

A spa... for pets?? SERIOUSLY?!?!

Okay, okay, I'm an animal lover! I love my Schnauzer Osiris (that's the picture of the troublemaker himself), he is a awesome pooch! Ava and Lexi think the world of him and Jon, who before we got together SWORE he'd never have another pet, now loves the dog AND our rat Vegas (we got her just before a trip to Las Vegas, Lexi named her). So my cousins wife was on Facebook and mentioned this new place that had opened up, A pet spa.... Royal Heirs Pet Spa to be exact. They offer the same things all my other groomer offered, except after they are done being washed they are given a blueberry facial. Now what is a blueberry facial you ask and why does a dog need one? Simple, for any dog owner, most breeds of dogs get goobers and tear stains in the corners of their eyes, that gets rid of it! Lexi's only question was "do the doggies get the cucumbers on their eyes too, I bet they like that" The groomers thought that was AWESOME LoL Needless to say they DID a awesome job! I was amazed at the job they did! They don't put the dogs under dyers and they don't crate them, instead they towel dry them and put them in play areas (think babygates in a doorway, and they each have their own room)
I totally recomend them! And Tell them Osiris sent you!!

Sad weekend

Our week started out not so out of the normal, the only thing that was different was Jon's dad went into the hospital to be monitored because he was complaining about being short of breath... Tuesday morning Jon and I's Phone went off at 4am with a nurse saying "Your dad has had a massive heart attack, WE've coded him, get to the hospital".
He slipped into a coma and this past saturday he passed on with his sister, brother, wife, son, daughter in law (me) and neice by his side. He was a wonderful man, led a very quiet life and loved his grandkids, even though they drove him nuts while he was trying to watch nascar LoL
We all hugged and smiled after he passed and told each other he finally found his slot machine that paid off. That man loved his nickel slots...

We will miss Grandpa Haynes.
We love you and keep watch over us from above....
