So life these past few days have stunk! Jon had a massive panic attack and after his manager said and I quote "You aren't worth more than the Job you are doing, and you need to be happy with what you have." Jon said forget this and quit. I was very proud of him for standing up for himself, but it's been stressful.
On top of everything Ava bonked her chin good enough that she had to go to the ER and has stiches in her chin.
The fun never ends!!

Cookie time and the savannah smiles??
So cookie time is nearly upon us again and I again am the cookie manager (you think itz bad having just one box sitting in your house, try having 1000+ and none of them are yours T-T)
I enjoy it A LOT! The girls have tons of fun and the trip we earn at the end of the year is to build a bear workshop! They love it and the more they sell the more they get to get for their bears.
A little known fact is that the girl scouts cookies are actually made by 2 different bakeries! I didn't have a clue until I started leading the troop last year... the only thing that sucks is if one bakery starts making a new cookie and the other doesn't it turns into a mess of the other councils that don't use that bakery. This year it is us that didn't get the new cookie, the Savannah Smile (named after the birth place of the girl scouts in Georgia).
I still haven't decided what I think of this powdery lemon wedge lookin' thing.... Lemonades are a must buy in our house every year (my dad bought 8 boxes of them last year alone, we bought 2) I generally swap a box of cookies with a troop I know from another council that gets stuff from the other bakery BUT I probabily won't this year.
Also if you're out there reading this and want cookies comment on the post and I'll contact you where they go on sale :-)

Out of school and looking for work and Props to a local place...
I've alway been supportive of my hubby, he took a year off of working to go through school to be an auto tech (which he now has a degree in thank you very much) I figured it wouldn't hurt to put this in a post.
WE ARE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE TO HIRE HIM AS A TECH!!!
While we know he has to "pay his dues" to get to be really good and get status, but PLEASE give him a chance!!
I don't know if that was loud enough, but ya know hey, it doesn't hurt.
I also wanted to give a huge shout out to a wonderful local dealership...
Eddy's Toyota....
Toyota has a special place in my heart, a toyota was my first car and I loved it until the day it died (at 250,000+miles on the engine) even though we are now a chevy family, I hope to own a Rav4 or Sienna at some point and would LOVE to buy Jon a Tundra (HUGE FLIPPIN' TRUCK!).
This past summer they helped with a HUGE toy drive she started for the kids of Joplin after the tornado and they've done it again! Cookie time is coming up again (which I have insanely taken it upon myself to be the cookie manager again!!) and when we asked they warmly invited us to let Lexi come up and sell cookies to the staff!
Not many places focus on the community any more... we <3 Eddy's!

WTH Wednesdays...
So this post isn't really about something that my hubby says but more like "REALLY HONEY, you play a game with this in it??"
Since most of you won't understand what I mean by "play a game", this isn't a video game, it is a table top game... think Dungeons and Dragons, but this one involves space, I won't tell you the name for sheer fear on being forever inducted into the dork hall of fame LoL
I'm probabily going to hell for what I'm seeing but it was still worth a good laugh!

Really?? LoL

Toddler bed blues....
We changed little bits bed to a toddler bed and she did just fine the first few nights... now we've figured out, "Hey I can get outta this thing!!"
Ugh.....
I love my girls but, they are TOTALLY OPPOSITES!!
Lexi was no problem, never climbed outta her toddler bed, never really fought bed times. Child gave up binkies and bottles no questions asked!
Ava is a whole different ball game! Little fart... I have no idea what to do at this point in time, it is getting to the point where she is up until 11pm or later and then is back up at 6am. Am I crazy for wanting a kids bed time between 8:30 and 9?
New beginning and new adventures!
I am happy to report we are now a TWO job family! Jon got hired on at a local dealership, while it's not as a tech position, he's being told it will be turn into one, but it was going to take at least 6 months to get him there, until then it is income coming in!! We didn't expect it this quickly, but we are so glad, don't know all the details but we are crossing our fingers.
In other news I've been going coupon crazy, I've been keeping track of sales ads and matching coupons. This is just a sample of what I normally print off.
It all started with a friend of mine handing me a stack of coupons for Axe bodywash (this is Jon's favorite). They went on sale at my local Dillon's store and my dad gave me more and I happened upon them being on sale. I was super exited... Jon about flipped when he saw the bag, thinking I'd spent WAY too much considering Axe is almost 4 bucks a bottle!! Same with old spice stuff. The grand total was $9.94 after taxes.
I just recently walked out of Walmart with them paying me for 160+ razors, now I don't need 160+ razors.... I used the overage from the coupons and purchased some things I needed and the razors were donated to make care packages for people through my daughters girl scout troop and the festival of giving! It felt awsome! I just bought Ava teddy grahams (in the single cups) for 33cents a peices. I love knowing I'm not ripping the stores off because the manufactures pay the stores that money back! I wish I could get more coupons a little cheaper.
